My cat urinates on our carpet. What's the best way to remove cat pee? |
|
I found this on a wesite one day and it works. Get your cat fixed. It WILL happen again if you don't. Blot it dry as much as u can, then sprinkle Baking Soda on the spot. With a liquid detergent(Oxy clean) & water pour it on the stain and scub it. Then blot it as dry as possible. Then get the carpet cleaner out. No need for special stuff. Just clean that area last. So you don't spread the smell anywhere else. That will work. If you have trouble, just type "cat urine stain" in your search engine and you'll find tons of suggestions. Happy cleaning. |

Probabaly start off with getting your cat fixed, when you have more than one cat around even if they like eachother a lot they still might be a little territorial, wich leads to marking their scent wich is peeing. Then get a carpet cleaner and that should work, remember you can rent them from places, look it up online. Then if thats to much you can go to pet store and they will probabally have a carpet spray espically for cat and dog urine. Hope this helped. Sammy G AKA Samantha. |
